Job Openings

Our project has openings for students and postdocs (see job postings below).

We are also always looking for bright undergrads and graduate students to work with us.

Post-doc opening at CMU

The School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University has a post-doctoral opening to work on an interdisciplinary project aimed at (1) semi-automatically extracting privacy policy annotations on a large-scale through a combination of natural language processing, crowdsourcing and machine learning, and (2) selectively presenting these annotations to users based on models of their privacy preferences and expectations.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in computer science or a related area and have a background in user modeling and user-centered design. Preference will be given to candidates who have done research in usable privacy and security. Meaningful prior experience applying machine learning and/or natural language techniques, prior exposure to good software engineering practices and some web application development would each also be a plus.
